Now this is the magic of WordPress. People sharing each other’s work and inspiring them to do more of what they do. I went through a few of Vidhi’s blogs and found them really good. In every blog she inspires people to get up and get going! That’s what I liked about her blog. I also know there are certain rules one has to follow after one has been nominated for a WordPress award. But I would like to add a little twist to it.
Now Vidhi has asked a set of eleven questions and of those eleven I felt I can answer her fourth question, “Which is the favorite book that you’ve read?“
The answer is Becoming by the one and only Michelle Obama.
So far of all the books that I have read, Becoming is more special because of the impact it has left on my mind. I have read and I’m reading other books as well. And I have my favourites for different genres. But for me Becoming doesn’t belong to a genre. It’s more like meeting up personally with Mrs.Obama!
I read the book a year back. And I re-read it whenever I’m in self-doubt. I guess I read the book at the right time. The book is a memoir about her journey from being a little girl to become the First Lady of the United States. I’m sure a lot of us might have read the book by now, each of us would have connected with the book differently. Becoming taught me why life should be viewed as a journey and not as a destination. This sounds cliche but is the universal truth. At the same time not to be too impulsive to find it all once!
This is what the book taught me, not necessarily that I have learnt it completely!
Today is a special day for another reason,

It’s the legendary actress Smita Patil’s birthday. I have watched her in hindi films namely, Bhumika, Mirch Masala, Namak Halal, and Marathi film Jait Re Jait. Please click on this link to know about her in a detailed manner 👉 Smita Patil: Fiercely Feminine
It’s the first day of Navratri, I pray to Mother Durga, the Goddess of Strength to bless us and help us to stay strong and patient in these challenging times!
